Training Philosophy:
"Maintaining a Healthy Eating and Fitness regimen is a Lifestyle for me. My philosophy is to make health and fitness your lifestyle you have to start somewhere, be consistent, and work hard. I can now say that maintaining a healthy eating and fitness regimen is a lifestyle for me. It has not always been that way for me. I use to think as long as I stay active, I can eat what I want to eat. Boy was I wrong! I use to have a very poor immune system, before I started making Healthy Food Choices. I use to get sick at least once a month, before I started combing Healthy Eating and Fitness. When I started working full time I got caught up in the 9 to 5 routine. I went to work, sat at my desk, got up from my desk to go to a fast food lunch, went home after 5 pm, and would get up in the morning to repeat the day before. None of my clothes were fitting the way they use to. I did not even realize I had gained as much weight as I did until I saw some photos of myself. During this time I started getting sick do to blood sugar issues. My doctor informed me that I was hypoglycemic and at risk for Diabetes due to a family history of diabetics and some signs I was already showing. I put myself back on a workout schedule and I kept my eating habits the same. I was not sticking to the diet the doctor gave me and I had a hard time reaching my goals. Then it dawned on me that the diet fads that I followed were just quick attempts that temporarily alleviated my problems. I made it a point to research the food I was eating. I found out that the food I ate was making me sick. Needless to say a change happened. I believed that I deserved good health and a good looking physique. I adopted the lifestyle and have been maintaining a healthy eating and exercise regimen ever since!"
Hobbies:
"I love cooking, sports, and Fast Cars! As far as cooking goes, I am always looking for and creating new ways to change traditional southern foods in to healthy ones that I can eat during my competition season. I am originally from Columbia, SC…I don't get nasty or tasteless food! With sports, I am the best trash talker this side of the Mississippi! Go Colts! If you are looking for a battle bring it on! The top sports I watch are track and field, football, boxing, and ultimate fighting. I currently don't own a fast car but I am envious of all who do! Before I leave this earth, I will have a 69 mustang with a Cobra engine and dual exhaust…you know the Shelby or Eleanor if you've seen the movie gone in 60 seconds. In my opinion it's a waste of materials to have a Stang without a Cobra."
